My best friend,       Sandy and I

Friendship is very important.  My best friend is a woman named Sandy. We met each other when we are working together at Westinghouse Credit Corporation.  We saw each other every day at work because we worked in the same department. We worked in the Accounting department and became fast friends. We also saw each other after work. We went to movies and dinners together and with other colleagues from work. We also met each other’s families and spent time together on the weekends. We are similar because we like the same things. For instance we like the same movies, music and shopping. We saw the movie “Reds” because we both loved Warren Beatty.  We are different because I’m more active than Sandy. I took tennis lessons, golf lessons and racquetball lessons and belonged to a gym. Sandy is a cook and when she invites someone to dinner, they can be sure that they will have a lovely meal. What I like best about Sandy is her sense of humour.  She’s really funny and we laugh a lot together. I’ve never had a better friend than Sandy. Even though we don’t see each other very often because I live in Lisbon and she lives in Pittsburgh, we are still best friends.
